RV site check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. Checkout is 11:00 a.m. for all stays.

Late checkout may be available depending on availability, and additional fees may apply. Contact the front desk to request it. Please plan to leave by the standard checkout time unless a late checkout is confirmed.

Yes. The hotel and RV park are open year-round. Dining operations are seasonal, so check the Dine page or contact the property for the current restaurant and saloon status.

Palm Canyon offers Back-In 30 AMP, Pull-Thru 30/50 AMP, Premium Back-In 30 AMP and Annual 30 AMP sites. Site dimensions and other hookup details vary. Review the RV Sites page or call before booking to match your RV with an appropriate site.

No. Car camping is not allowed. Reserve an approved hotel room, RV site or designated campsite for your stay.

Hotel reservations include one vehicle per room. Each RV or tent site includes one RV or tent plus one vehicle. Extra vehicles may be accommodated based on availability for $5 per day or $25 per week. All vehicle license numbers must be registered with the Main Office, and vehicles must be parked as directed.

All trailers must be unhooked, and an additional parking pass is required. Contact the Main Office at arrival for the pass and current parking instructions.

Unless otherwise stated, an RV site includes two adults. Children under age 6 stay free. Additional guests are $5 per person, per day. Maximum occupancy is six guests, including children, unless otherwise stated.

Yes. Palm Canyon offers short-term, monthly, long-term and annual RV stay options. Monthly and other extended-stay reservations are handled through the front desk rather than online. Call 760-767-5341 for current rates and availability.

No. Non-guests may not park at Palm Canyon while visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The state park offers paid parking. Check the official park page for current fees, restrictions and parking availability.

Propane grills and fire pits are allowed at campsites. Guests may use charcoal in the BBQ grill at the picnic area and may use wood or charcoal in the communal cauldron. The picnic-area grill and cauldron are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow all posted restrictions and staff instructions.

Palm Canyon's 60 hotel rooms are located in five Western-themed buildings surrounding the main pool.

Bathhouses are available to registered guests only. The laundry and fitness room are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The General Store is open during office hours, which vary by season; contact the office for current hours. The nearest recommended hike is the Borrego Palm Canyon Trail to the palm oasis in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Check the official park page before leaving for current trail, parking, weather and safety information.

Nearby activities include hiking, off-roading, stargazing, viewing desert metal sculptures and attending seasonal local events, which are generally offered from October through April. Visit the Explore page for ideas and current links.

The amphitheater area is a recommended on-property location for stargazing. Please keep noise and light low and observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Palm Canyon's Western theme is designed to evoke the look and feel of a movie set. The property should not be described as an actual filming location unless a specific production has been separately verified.

Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome in pet-friendly hotel rooms and RV sites and must be registered at the front desk upon arrival. Non-disclosed pets are subject to a $150 fine per pet. Pet-friendly hotel rooms allow up to two domestic pets per room, each weighing 100 pounds or less, with a $50 plus tax fee for the stay. Pets must remain on a leash no longer than 10 feet, stay under their owner's care and may not be left unattended. Guests must clean up pet waste, and pets are not allowed in resort buildings or amenity areas. Noisy, vicious or unruly pets and exotic pets are not permitted. Guests should be able to provide proof of current vaccinations. Additional deep cleaning may be charged at $50 per hour. Service animals are handled separately from the pet policy; contact the property with questions about a specific accommodation need.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Loud or disruptive behavior is not permitted at any time, and guests who do not comply may be asked to leave.

Smoking is prohibited in all accommodations and within 25 feet of any building or entrance. Outdoor smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Violations may result in a fine of up to $250.

Palm Canyon offers an ADA-accessible room with door width suitable for a wheelchair or walker, grab bars beside and behind the toilet, shower grab bars, a roll-in shower and a roll-under sink.
